They also welcomed two new team members: Andrew Holmes as Southwest Florida Regional Vice President and Scott Beale as Corporate Chef.

Scott Beale
Holmes extensive hospitality career encompasses corporate, development, and operational experience across the globe. He pioneered the Autograph Collection with The Kessler Collection, Executive leadership with Vision Hospitality's new development and engineering First Hospitality Group's food and beverage division.

Beale began his career as a marine biologist, working as an underwater welder for Oceaneering and other global companies. His passion for food led him to pivot into the culinary world, joining Dupont as a food and research professional, where he secured five U.S. patents in non-stick food technology.


After returning home, Beale launched a successful catering business, opened two restaurants, and founded a food consulting firm. In 2011, he competed on Food Network’s Iron Chef with Firestone Winery, finishing as the first runner-up in the national culinary challenge.

Since moving to Naples in 2014, Beale has served as a corporate chef both nationally and regionally. At KWPMC, he will lead food and beverage operations statewide, enhancing culinary experiences for the properties.

 

Earlier this year, KWPMC added Stephen Clark as the Executive Director of Food and beverage. Clark manages operations for a diverse portfolio of communities across Florida, ranging from a 60-unit luxury condominium in Miami Beach to a 1500-home resort-style community in Orlando.

“Our approach to F&B involves actively listening to the unique desires of homeowners in each community, tailoring our services, accordingly, said Clark. “We are aiming to streamline our operation while also creating one-of-a-kind offerings at each property.”

Hold-Thyssen Completes New Multi-Year Lease Agreement With Stites Law PA at The Laurel Building in Altamonte Springs, FL

Altamonte Springs, FL  --- Hold Thyssen, Inc., a full-service commercial property brokerage firm based in Winter Park, completed a multi-year lease agreement at the Laurel Building, 498 Palm Springs Drive in Altamonte Springs.

The new lease of Suite 300 with 1,457 square feet was inked by Stites Law, P.A, a  law firm  specializing in personal injury and real estate.

 

Martin Forster CCIM, Senior Director at Hold-Thyssen who negotiated the transaction, is the exclusive leasing representative for the second and third floors of  the Laurel Building. The local landlord is Foley Properties, LLC.

Plaza Advisors brokers $4.65 million sale of Bay Pines Shopping Center in St. Petersburg, (Seminole), FL.

St. Petersburg, FL -- The center sold for $4.65 million to a publicly traded REIT. The Plaza Advisors team led by Jeff Berkezchuk and Jim Michalak represented the seller, Kitson & Partners.

 Bay Pines is a 9,110 square foot strip center that is an outparcel to a top-performing Walmart Supercenter. The center was 85% occupied at the time of sale, with notable tenants including Starbucks, Supercuts & Jimmy Johns.

The property is situated on 1.01 acres along Bay Pines Boulevard (U.S. Alt 19), directly across the street from the VA Hospital and features 40,500 vehicles per day.

 This completes a three-property portfolio in which Plaza Advisors represented Kitson & Partners. The adjacent Texas Roadhouse and Village Inn properties were previously sold in separate transactions to 1031 investors.  

 “The asset garnered significant investor interest due to its strong tenant mix and upside via lease-up of the vacant space” Berkezchuk said. “Unanchored strip centers have become a highly desirable property type with a bevy of investors entering into the market, making Bay Pines even more compelling.”
