SHELTON, CT (March
16, 2015)—Officials of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading hotel owner,
operator and developer, today announced that Andrew Hobbs has been named general manager of the 138-room Hampton Inn & Suites Jekyll Island.
Previously, Hobbs was
the assistant general manager/sales manager for the hotel. Trevor
Stratton, the hotel's former general manager, was promoted to assistant
general manager for New Castle's soon-to-open Westin Jekyll Island.
“Andrew has been preparing for this new challenge for two
years and has clearly demonstrated his readiness to lead this award-winning
hotel," said Gerry Chase,
president and COO of New Castle.
