APPOMATTOX, Va., March 24, 2015—Marshall Hotels &
Resorts, Inc., a leading hotel management and services company that operates
properties nationwide, today celebrated the groundbreaking of the 56-room
Appomattox Inn and Suites: Professionally Managed by Marshall Hotels, a
boutique hotel to be located in historic Appomattox, Va.
Owned by a group of private investors, the hotel is expected
to open in the fall of 2015.
“This hotel marks the first new-build hotel property in the
past two decades for the Appomattox area,” said Mike Marshall, president of Marshall Hotels and Resorts.
