IPA Arranges Sale of Luxury Apartment Complex in Northwest San Antonio, TX

SAN ANTONIO, TX – Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap specializing in serving institutional and major private real estate investors, is pleased to announce the sale of Presidio at the Landmark, a 412-unit luxury apartment community in San Antonio. The terms of the sale were not disclosed.

            IPA executive director Will Balthrope and IPA director Drew Kile represented the seller and procured the buyer.

            “Presidio at the Landmark’s strategic location near high-traffic expressways, large corporate employers and recently developed regional retail centers, along with San Antonio’s expanding population and strong job market, position it well to provide the new owner with long-term stability and value appreciation,” says Balthrope.

            “The asset also offers an opportunity for value creation through the implementation of a unit modernization program that will place the property on par with newer comparable assets,” adds Kile. “With the transition to an updated, contemporary style, Presidio at the Landmark could become one of the area’s beacon properties.”

            Built in 2008 on nearly 31 acres at 14200 Vance Jackson Road in northwest San Antonio’s Interstate 10/Loop 1604 area, the property is less than one mile from The Rim, the highest income shopping mall in the city.

 Another high-end shopping mall, The Shops at La Cantera, is located just three miles from Presidio at the Landmark. Nearby employers include the USAA world headquarters, the South Texas Medical Center and the University of Texas at San Antonio.

            Apartments at Presidio at the Landmark feature upgraded appliances, garden tubs, walk-in closets, washer and dryer connections and hardwood floors. 

Select units have vaulted ceilings and attached garages. Community amenities include controlled, gated access, resort-style swimming pools, a fitness center, clubhouse, business center, billiards/game room, pet park and barbecue grill.
