Law Firm Signs New 9,489-SF Lease in Santa Monica, CA; Renews 16,101-SF Lease in Downtown Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES, CA, Feb. 4, 2021 – JLL announced today that international law firm Cozen O’Connor has signed a lease for 9,489 square feet of space at One West Square, a 12-floor, 232,146-square-foot Class A office building located at 401 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, California.

The new lease represents a relocation of the firm’s Santa Monica office previously located at 1299 Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica. In addition to the new lease in Santa Monica, Cozen O’Connor signed a lease renewal for 16,101 square feet for its downtown Los Angeles office located at 601 South Figueroa Street.

JLL’s Darren Eades, Brian Niehaus and Cassie Trosclair represented Cozen O’Connor in both leases.  In the Santa Monica lease, the landlord, Douglas Emmett, was represented in-house by Bob Zelken.  In the Los Angeles lease, the landlord, Brookfield Properties, was represented in-house by Marin Turney.
