Blackton Awarded Contract to Supply Flooring Products for Maronda’s Silver Eagle Reserve Community in Groveland, FL Opening in January

 Groveland, FL --- Blackton Inc., the Orlando firm that ranks as one of Central Florida’s largest distributors of materials to homebuilders has been selected as the supplier of flooring for Silver Eagle Reserve, Maronda Homes’ newest community in Groveland. 

 Michael “Micky” Blackton, chief executive officer, said his firm will provide more than $250,000.00 worth of materials in the construction of 23 new single-family homes, including two model homes that will open for touring this January at the South Lake County community on Silver Eagle Rd. off S.R. 50.      

Construction started at Silver Eagle Reserve and Blackton is supplying tile, hardwoods and carpeting for new homes that range from 1,971 square feet of living area to more than 2,470 square feet. 

The family-owned business headquartered on Alden St. north of downtown Orlando , with locations in south Orlando and Leesburg has been supplying the home building industry from Jacksonville to Tampa for six decades.
