LEESBURG, FL – Treasure Trove, a single-family home community with 155 proposed sites at State Road 44 and East Treasure Trove Avenue, is expected to start taking shape by year’s end.
Earlier this year Traderscove Corporation, a
subsidiary of the Winter Park-based Henin Group, entered into a contract to
purchase the 55.45-acre property.

Jerome Henin, president
of The Henin Group, said site development for the community
should begin after Treasure Trove is approved in
early 2023, with PSP approvals expected in December.

Gary Beverly and Steve Young of Maitland-based Civil Design Solutions created the proposed comprehensive plan (PCP) which the City sent to the State Dept of Economic Opportunity to amend the land use as “estate residential.” The amendment will be adopted in November, Henin said.
“Once the City of Leesburg approves the comprehensive plan for the 50- and 60-foot estate homesites we will begin construction permits for the community,” he said.
Many of the homesites there will overlook
small ponds, while others will view a nature preserve, Henin said.
