Orlando, FL— In a sign of the lasting importance of marketing, communication and community in commercial real estate (CRE), the best and brightest social media influencers in CRE will gather to collaborate on becoming marketing masters at the third annual CREi Summit.

The Summit will be held at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando, Florida from September 27 to September 29, 2023.

“The pandemic changed the way we work in commercial real estate,” said conference founder Ken Ashley, an Executive Director within Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Group.

“It’s never been more important to develop a personal brand over social and traditional media to increase your visibility and, thus, your business. The Summit gives attendees the opportunity to meet and learn from the best marketers in the business.”

CREi Summit was founded in 2021 by CRE leaders who had connected over social media during the pandemic to meet in person, exchange best practices among themselves and learn from one another. The conference has quickly become an essential component of any real estate professional’s marketing and branding education.

“We’re not a major trade association or a professional conference planning company. We’re a group of active CRE professionals who have day jobs but want to share what we’ve learned to increase everyone’s success,” said Summit Chair Casey Flannery of Foundry Commercial.

“So many people wanted to join us that first year in Lake Tahoe, then again in New Orleans in 2022. The turnout was astounding and gratifying to the entire group.”

The conference boasts a unique blend of networking, social events, a small group of top-level exhibitors, and educational panels and workshops that allow newcomers and industry veterans alike to create personal connections and hone their communications skills.

Top influencers in social media and experts in branding, marketing, and public relations offer practical tips from their own experiences and share their visions for the future.

Because of that goal of creating connections, the conference is limited to just 150 attendees; the result has been true friendships and more than a few transactions in just two years.

“We understand that this conference is an investment of both time and money,” said Joe Killinger of Commercial Brokers International. “Our goal is to make sure that we provide industry professionals who attend with the best resources and value.”

Registrants can take advantage of the early bird pricing of just $999 until February 28th.

Tickets are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and are open to all.

Unlike many other meetings, that fee includes meals and beverages during the conference on Thursday and Friday morning.

This all-inclusive experience is made possible by sponsors which currently include the developer of the Lake Nona master-planned community, Tavistock Development Company, and leading commercial real estate trade association SIOR.

"SIOR is incredibly proud to be a supporter of the CREi Summit since its inception three years ago," said Robert Thornburgh, SIOR CEO. "The quality and professionalism of the people attending, along with the impactful content, speak for themselves."

Fittingly, the conference will be held this year at the Lake Nona Wave Hotel, which combines luxury with the latest technology in the rooms, conference spaces, and even the gym.

“Social commerce is expected to exceed $1 trillion by 2025. People and businesses are driving real revenue through these platforms and our goal is to teach people in commercial real estate how to use various platforms to grow their business,” said Programming Chair Carrie Bobb of hellojenny.

“We are creating workshops and spaces where people will walk away from the event with a custom digital marketing strategy for their business and 30 to 60 days’ worth of content.”

The conference also continues to grow in prestige, with the committee exploring how its sessions can contribute to required educational requirements for brokers and more.

“We’re the little conference that could,” Ashley said. “And we’re continuing to find new ways to help create the commercial real estate industry’s next generation of influencers.”
