Hoover Realty Real Estate Agent, Eric Johnston Built and Released a Simple and Powerful Real Estate Search Website for Home Shoppers

Sarasota, FL, Aug. 28, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Hoover Realty Agent Eric Johnston (top right photo) built and released a website specifically  designed to help home buyers shop for homes in Sarasota County Florida.

It is not uncommon to have Real Estate websites in Sarasota, Florida, that offer a link within the site that users can look for homes that are for sale. Real estate companies very often show their own listings within these searches.

Sarasearch is different. It has a Google-like simplicity to it with interactive maps like Zillow.

The Home page or "Landing page," as web developers call it, immediately puts the user in front of an interactive map of Sarasota county and 200 of the MLS listings at a time.

Like Zillow, as the user places the mouse icon on the homes Sarasearch highlights the details of this listing. Users can sign up for free and create their own customized searches.

They can even set it up so that Sarasearch sends them an email when ever a new listing comes on the market.

The idea behind the site was to create a website that home buyers could really shop all the available listings and not just the listings of any one particular office.

"It is about empowering the buyer," says Eric Johnston, a local Buyers Agent with Hoover Realty and creator of Sarasearch. "I remember when I was shopping for a home. I used Zillow and alike sites. However, the accuracy of Zillow can be manipulated by 'sellers' putting on listings that are not real to simply entice buyers to call or email."

Sarasearch is a direct link to MLS and is local in nature; that is rule number one when it comes to Real Estate. "I wanted to cut out all the extra stuff and give home buyers the ability to really be informed about everything that is available."
