Naples, FL destination retail center sells for $97 million

 has closed the $97 million sale of Granada Shoppes, a 307,000-square-foot, one-of-a-kind shopping center destination anchored by Trader Joe’s, Marshalls, Haverty’s Furniture, Hobby Lobby and P.F. Chang’s in the coastal Florida community of Naples, Florida.

 

JLL marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Courtelis Company and Barron Collier Companies. Brixmor Property Group acquired the asset.  


Granada Shoppes is 98 percent leased to a diverse lineup of popular national and local tenants, including Trader Joe’s, Marshalls, Hobby Lobby, Haverty’s, Dollar Tree, PF Chang’s, Tuesday Morning, Xfinity, First Watch Restaurant, Jersey Mike’s Sports Clips, Visionworks, Men’s Wearhouse and Petland of Naples.

Situated on more than 39 acres at the southeast corner of Tamiami Trail N. (U.S. 41) and Immokalee Road, Granada Shoppes is in a high-traffic location with visibility to more than 91,900 vehicles per day.

 

The retail destination is 3.5 miles west of the I-75 Interchange, making it easily accessible to the affluent Naples and Bonita Springs residents.


The center serves a trade area that includes 44,821 residents earning an average annual household income of $126,240 living within a three-mile radius.

On Dec. 2, national multifamily publication Multi-Housing News presented RKW with a 2021 Excellence Award in the Marketing Campaign category.

RKW earned the prestigious award for its innovative “15 for 15” COVID-19 Video Series, in which RKW provided much-needed thought leadership early in the pandemic through insightful 15-minute conversations with industry leaders. 

 

 The collaborative effort brought together two RKW teams, as the video series was conceived and hosted by Senior Vice President of Client Services John Zalkin.

 

In Charlotte, RKW and President Marcie Williams were honored by Charlotte Observer and Charlotte Business Journal, respectively.

Williams earned the Business Journal’s 2021 Most Admired CEOs award. She received the honor for a second straight year, an extremely rare accomplishment.

Ackerman Retail Strengthens Landlord Representation Group with Addition of Suzanne Shank

ATLANTA, GA Continuing the growth of its experienced Landlord Representation team. Ackerman Retail, a division of Ackerman & Co., has hired high-producing landlord services specialist Suzanne Shank as Senior Vice President.

 Suzanne brings nearly 30 years of commercial real estate expertise, with a focus on project leasing of mixed-use developments, power centers, lifestyle centers and grocery-anchored centers.

 In her leasing efforts on behalf of Ackerman Retail and its third-party clients, Suzanne will partner at times with Ackerman Retail Senior Vice President Kelly Wilson, a top retail landlord broker who has completed successful leasing assignments at prominent retail and restaurant properties across metro Atlanta.

Suzanne arrives at Ackerman from Colliers International - Atlanta, where she worked in the Retail division as Vice President of Landlord Services. She also spent more than six years as a Senior Leasing Representative at The Sembler Company.

 She is a recurring CoStar Power Broker winner and an active member of ICSC, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and NAIOP.
