Twitter, Facebook Tools for Commercial Real Estate Executives is Agenda of ICSC Panel Discussion Feb. 25-26 in Tampa, FL


TAMPA - Social media---Twitter, FaceBook, Flickr---and LeadsCommunity.com, a recent web launch designed for commercial real estate professionals, are the focus of a panel discussion at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ Idea Exchange conference scheduled Feb. 25-26 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Tampa.

John Crossman, (top right photo) CCIM, president of Crossman & Company, the Orlando firm that ranks as one of the largest third-party retail leasing and management firms in the Southeast will head the panel discussion on social media tools on Friday, Feb. 25.

“We’re going to take an in-depth look at how social media sites and apps are helping commercial real estate executives gain exposure for projects and ultimately get deals done,” Crossman explained.

Panelists including Andrew Gregory, President of eMedia Concepts; Kevin Hourigan, (middle left photo)  President and CEO of Bayshore Solutions; and Hue Chen, (bottom right photo) founder of Leadscommunity.com, plan to discuss the latest trends in Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and real estate-specific sites such as LeadsCommunity.com, Crossman said.

“We will offer tips and best practices to help all skill levels,” Crossman said. “Social networking can be a valuable and highly profitable tool and anyone can learn to do it,” he said.

Two Crossman & Company Executives to Chair Roundtable Discussions at ICSC Conference in Orlando in March


ORLANDO, Fla. – Two executives at Crossman & Company, which ranks as one of the largest third-party retail leasing and management companies in the Southeast, will chair roundtable discussions during the International Council of Shopping Centers’ conference on Open-Air Centers March 10-12 in Orlando.

John Crossman, (top right photo) president of the firm, said he will head a roundtable discussion that focuses on leasing Big Box retail space.

Justin Greider, (top left photo) senior associate at Crossman & Company, said his roundtable discussion will focus on using ICSC resources and facilities to better facilitate networking.


The ICSC Conference on Open-Air Centers is scheduled at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes hotel on Central Florida Parkway in East Orlando.

ORLANDO, Fla. --- Two industry leaders from Crossman & Company, one of the largest third-party leasing and management firms in the southeast, are scheduled to appear at the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) West Florida Idea Exchange Feb. 25-26 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay in Tampa.

Justin Greider, senior associate at Crossman & Company based in Orlando, will present the firm’s landmark 2010 Retail Report, an in-depth analysis of retail property trends throughout Florida. Greider said he will focus on retail trends in the Tampa Bay region, including property development and leasing.

John Crossman, president of Crossman & Company, will lead a roundtable discussion on How to Find Tenants Where None Exist starting at 9 a.m. on Feb. 26.

Crossman & Company Negotiates New Retail Lease Agreements at Five Publix Retail Centers in Florida


ORLANDO, FL. --- Crossman & Company, which ranks as one of the largest third-party retail leasing and management companies in the Southeast, recently negotiated five new retail lease agreements at five Publix centers throughout Central and South Florida.

All of these centers are part of the 10.4 million square foot Publix-owned shopping center portfolio.

•South Gate Shopping Center (Publix-anchored), 102 S.R. 60 E. in Lake Wales, 1,815 square feet to Pandora’s Beauty Box;


•Publix at Treasure Island (Publix-anchored), 111 104th Ave. in Treasure Island, Pinellas County, 1,851 square feet to Golden Nails & Spa II; The center is now 100 percent leased after opening in early 2009.

•Plantation Square (Publix-anchored), 5375 N. Socrum Loop Rd. in Lakeland, 1,449 square feet to EZ Wireless;

Crossman & Company’s South Florida associate Ashley Thornburg negotiated two additional lease agreements:



•Miramar Town Centre (Publix-anchored), 6890 Miramar Parkway, 586 square feet to TaxEasy. The center is now 100 percent leased.

•Publix at the Acreage, 7070 Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd. in Loxahatchee in Palm Beach County, 1,300 square feet to American Blue Pool Supplies.

Crossman & Co. Announces Long Term Lease at Orlando Fashion Square with Barnie’s Coffee


ORLANDO, Fla. --- Orlando Fashion Square has added another tenant to their lineup. Barnie’s Coffee will be opening in the mall in time for the Holiday season this month [November].

John Crossman, President of Crossman & Company said the owner and landlord Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) leased the space to Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co., a 1,288 SF space near the center of the mall.

Crossman & Company serves as exclusive local leasing representatives at Orlando Fashion Square mall on Colonial Drive and Maguire Blvd. in Orlando.
