Ware Malcomb Tops $1 Million in Charitable Contributions to United Way

 IRVINE, CA --Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced its employee philanthropic giving arm WM Community has contributed more than $1 million to Orange County United Way since it began fundraising for the nonprofit organization in 1999.

JLL Capital Markets arranges sale of Saltbox Denver – Park Hill warehouse in Denver, CO

DENVER, CO,  Mar. 7, 2024 – JLL Capital Markets announced today that it arranged the sale of Saltbox Denver – Park Hill, a newly renovated industrial building totaling 101,788 square feet in Denver, Colorado, located just north of the Colorado Blvd. and the I-70 interchange.

 

The JLL Capital Markets team was led by Director Rob Key and Managing Director Larry Thiel. The price was not disclosed.

Situated at 4800 Dahlia St., Saltbox is a side-loading industrial building that is fully net leased to Saltbox. 

 

Saltbox offers digital commerce companies a flexible and tenant-ready office, warehousing and distribution solution to solve some of the most critical challenges e-commerce entrepreneurs face when starting, growing and scaling their businesses.

 

The property sits on 5.5 acres, was built in 1959 and most recently renovated in 2021. Key features include 22-foot clear heights, 14 dock-high doors, two grade-level doors and 144 parking spaces.

 

Saltbox Denver is in the heart of the I-70 East Corridor of Denver, an emerging area which has seen steady residential and commercial growth over the last decade, driven in part by the growth of the Denver International Airport.

RKW RESIDENTIAL Expands Build-to-Rent Management Portfolio by Over 1,400 Units

Charlotte, NC -- RKW Residential, one of the nation’s fastest-growing multifamily management firms, has added over 1,400 units to its rapidly expanding portfolio of build-to-rent (BTR) community management assignments.

 

A pioneer in the emerging market segment, RKW consulted on its first BTR project in 2018 and now has over 5,000 BTR units under management or consulting.The newest BTR community assignments are located in North Carolina, South

 Carolina, Georgia and Florida. RKW was tapped to oversee leasing and management of the communities from both new and existing clients.




Developers in these Sun Belt states are moving quickly to accommodate significant demand for BTR product from renters seeking more living space and privacy than conventional apartment buildings can offer.

One new client, Hopper Communities, hired RKW to manage three of its BTR communities in the Charlotte market: Crossings at NoDa, Enderly Towns and Towns at Eastland. Hopper is based in Charlotte and focuses its development activity on the Carolinas and Austin, Texas.


RKW’s expanded relationships with existing clients include Mandrake Capital Partners (Easthaven in Pooler, Georgia), Stellar Communities (Havens at Central Park in Port St. Lucie, Florida) and Sands Companies (Argent Cottages in Hardeeville, South Carolina). RKW manages the full portfolio of Sands, a Myrtle Beach-based BTR developer.



Fueled by this growth, RKW has been recognized during IMN’s Build-to-Rent Industry Awards in the Property Management Company of the Year category each of the past two years.

Ware Malcomb Leader Jimena Fernandez Navarra Named CREW Mexico City Chapter President

MEXICO CITY, March 7, 2024 – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Jimena Fernandez Navarra in the firm’s Mexico City office has been named President of the newly established Mexico City chapter of Commercial Real Estate Women Network (CREW Mexico City), which was launched at the association’s recent leadership conference in Fort Worth, TX. 

In addition to her role as Director, Interior Architecture & Design for Ware Malcomb, Fernandez Navarra has been a major force in opening the chapter over the past year and will be responsible for its overall strategy, including structuring and establishing its committees.

“It is such an honor to serve as the first president of this new chapter and help lead its launch,” she said. “It is great to have an amazing group of women working together to make an impact in the industry.”

 She explained that CREW Mexico City’s goals are like that of other chapters industrywide, with an added focus of reinforcing relationships between Mexico, Canada, and the United States. 

Fernandez Navarra joined Ware Malcomb in 2021 and brings more than 20 years of experience to her role overseeing all interiors projects for the Mexico City office. Her project resume includes architectural design, and interior design for numerous corporate, residential, commercial, education and hospitality projects.

 She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architectural design from Universidad Anáhuac, and Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, respectively.
