Peachtree Group Appoints Sameer Nair as Senior Vice President of Equity Asset Management

ATLANTA, GA – Peachtree Group, a diversified commercial real estate investment firm, has named Sameer Nair as senior vice president of equity asset management. In this role, he will oversee and implement asset oversight to Peachtree’s real estate portfolio and preferred equity investments.

As an experienced asset manager with development and transactional experience, Nair brings unique experiences and capabilities to the firm.

 His insight and expertise in navigating the real estate landscape, coupled with a successful track record overseeing complete investment lifecycles positions him as valuable contributor in Peachtree Group's growth strategy.

With more than a decade of hospitality experience, Nair most recently was senior vice president of acquisitions and development for Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG), where he sourced equity, debt and third-party management opportunities, growing the company’s hotel portfolio.

Prior positions included Nair serving as vice president of investments and capital markets for Kolter Hospitality, where he oversaw more than $600 million in transaction volume across hotel investment and debt restructuring.

He also held a similar position at Banyan Investment Group as vice president of hotel investments, closing more than $125 million in transaction volume, among others. 

Nair received his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from the Nolan Hotel School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He is a Cornell Hotel Society member and an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Arthritis Foundation.

Howard Hughes signs two new leases at 1700 Pavilion in downtown Summerlin, NV

 LAS VEGAS, NV — Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. (NYSE: HHH), developer of the Summerlin® master planned community, announces two new leases at 1700 Pavilion, a 10-story, Class-A office building at Downtown Summerlin®, the community’s walkable urban core.

Snell & Wilmer, one of the largest law firms in the Western U.S. with offices in 16 locations throughout the United States and Mexico, will occupy the entire 7th floor spanning 27,542 square feet.

Douglas Elliman, one of the largest independent residential real estate brokerages headquartered in New York City with operations in Florida, California, Texas, Colorado, Nevada, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. will occupy Suite 150, offering 3,856 square feet.

 

1700 Pavilion, which officially opened in January 2023, is now 90 percent leased. Spanning approximately 267,000 square feet on just under three acres directly south of the Las Vegas Ballpark, the office building features vantage points with one-of-a-kind views of the entire valley, from The Strip to Red Rock Canyon.

JLL completes largest metro Phoenix office lease of the year for Peckham Inc.

   PHOENIX, AZ– JLL has completed metro Phoenix’s largest office lease of the year, establishing a new 136,194-square-foot inbound contact center for Peckham Inc., a nonprofit community vocational rehabilitation organization.

The new center will fully occupy One Compass Center, a four-story, Class A office building at 3150 S. 48th St. in Phoenix, located immediately west of State Route 143 and minutes to the north of Interstate 10 in the Sky Harbor Airport submarket.

Following Peckham’s mission, the new inbound, federal contact center will offer up to 1,000 jobs for persons with various physical, mental, emotional and learning disabilities.

 

“Peckham has been in operation for nearly 50 years, with a presence in Phoenix for more than a decade,” said Nate Vander Laan, Vice President of Facilities, Peckham Inc.

Sands Companies Bolsters Team with Addition of Levi Walters

JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory group hires Mary Bruno as National Director of Agency Due Diligence

CHICAGO, IL – JLL’s Value and Risk Advisory platform has hired Mary Bruno as the National Director of Agency Due Diligence. Bruno will report to Jeff Manas, Executive Managing Director for the group’s Environmental and Property Condition team.

 

In this new role, Bruno, based in Orlando, FL,  will build and oversee the due diligence process for Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae assignments to meet the specific requirements, which often go above and beyond the standard due diligence requirements.

 

With more than 28 years of experience in due diligence, Bruno joins JLL from CBRE, where she most recently served as the Vice President, Environmental Assessment in their Valuation and Advisory group.
