Compliant with the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED® Silver Certification requirements, the 2-story pediatric dental clinic and educational facility will be a state-of-the-art facility serving the dental needs of children.It will also support clinical training for doctoral students and dentistry residents of the University of Florida, as well as continuing education opportunities for dentists in the region.
The clinic will include a patient waiting area with views of natural wooded spaces, 10 private dental operatories, four open dental operatories, two surgical dental operatories, classrooms, as well as space for future expansion. W.G. Mills, Inc., Bradenton, FL, serves as construction manager for the facility which is slated for completion in October 2008.
