West Palm Beach, FL. – McCraney Property Group recently completed the sale of the Lake Park parcel to the United States government.
There are plans to build a 50,000 square-foot training facility on the 18-acre parcel located just north of Riviera Beach (top left photo) off Congress and Silver Beach Road. The building is expected to create $23 million in construction expenditures.
The U.S. Army wants to use the center for reservists to complete their required training. The center will house close to 600 reservists scheduled to go through training. While weapons will be stored on site, all live firing will be done on simulators.
“The deal was a challenging one, taking two years to negotiate and obtain the necessary approvals,” said Steven McCraney, president and CEO of McCraney Property Company.
