HARTFORD, CT, Feb.
11, 2013 – Investment sales broker Northeast Private Client Group has expanded
its operations to better serve building owners and real estate investors in the
greater Hartford market with the recent acquisition of Redbrick Partners’
property management assets.
The firm will
retain Michele Velez as regional property manager, and has named Andre
Bakaj as sales and leasing manager in its newly expanded Hartford office.

relationship with Redbrick Partners made this acquisition possible,” says Edward
Jordan, JD, CCIM, the firm’s managing director. “We will manage their
multifamily properties in Hartford, and leverage the newly combined team to
better serve other building owners and investors in the area.”
Velez has
considerable experience in the management and operation of multifamily
properties throughout New England. She has worked for major apartment
investors including Taymil Partners of Framingham, MA, Ceebraid-Signal of
Stamford, CT, and Redbrick Partners of Washington, DC.

Bakaj has led the
Hartford-based investment sales team for Northeast Private Client Group since
2011.
He brings over 10 years of real estate leasing and management
expertise to the team, and has worked with many of Connecticut’s most prominent
real estate owners and investors.
This expansion of
the Hartford office complements the firm’s existing locations in White Plains,
Bridgeport and Framingham. The Hartford office is located at 22 Morris
Street, just south of the central business district and minutes from I-91 and
I-84.
