FALLS CHURCH, VA – Cooper Carry, an internationally
recognized design firm, has completed the design of a 50,000-square-foot
renovation and a 40,000-square-foot addition at Westgate Elementary School,
a public school in Falls Church, Va.
The contractor has been mobilized and construction on the
site will begin in earnest before the end of the year. Cooper Carry is working
with Fairfax County Public schools to oversee the design and construction of
the school. Construction of the project is scheduled to be complete in the fall
of 2015.

The project includes
the renovation and modernization of existing facilities which will include
classrooms, a cafeteria and a gymnasium. The new addition will house an
administrative office, library and additional classroom wing.
