MIAMI, FL – The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards
have named five Atlantic|Pacific Companies (A|P) as finalists for the 2015
honors. The nominees are spread across various categories, including water
conservation, energy efficiency, civic volunteerism and advocacy,
family-friendly programs and initiatives, and disaster preparedness.
The Florida Communities of Excellence Awards recognize
outstanding communities that invest time in improving the quality of life of
their residents.
The finalists for the awards, which were founded in 2009 and
are presented annually, were chosen by a group of judges including state,
county, and local government agencies and departments, as well as local
professional and non-profit organizations.
The winners will be announced May 2015 at the Seventh Annual
Conference & Awards Gala in Weston, Florida.
The five A|P finalists and the categories they were
