Miami, FL –Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, P.L. announces that Belinda Bacon has joined the firm as Of Counsel. Bacon is based in the firm’s Coral Gables office.
Bacon has more than 25 years of wide-ranging experience and is Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar. In her new role, Bacon works closely with the attorneys from the firm’s Construction Practice Group.
Representing owners, engineers, architects, developers, contractors, subcontractors and design professionals, Bacon handles a variety of complex construction contract, project administration, claims management, arbitration and litigation matters.
High-profile projects Bacon has been involved with include the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, the American Airlines Arena and Brickell City Centre.

A licensed engineer, Bacon serves on the Board of Directors of the Miami chapter of the Florida Engineering Society. She is a longtime member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Construction Law. Bacon is also a volunteer director at Epworth Village Retirement Community in Hialeah.
Bacon earned her JD from The College of William and Mary’s Marshall Wythe Law School and her Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Duke University.
