The $5-million transaction marks the final piece
of land sold by Ackerman as part of the Exchange at Gwinnett project, with the
firm having previously completed four land sales of nearly 100 acres.
Ackerman & Co. Senior Vice Presidents John
Speros and Larry Wood represented Fuqua Development in the
acquisition of the 13.7-acre parcel. Mansour Properties LLC was the seller.
“Initially, we represented the Orkin
family in the sale of 64 acres to Fuqua Development and then helped Fuqua
assemble the balance of the land for this multi-phase project that is being
developed into one of the most exciting mixed-use projects in the entire
Atlanta region,” said John Speros.
