“A beloved local destination, the Saranac Waterfront Lodge has a wonderful reputation we look forward to expanding upon with both locals and visitors,” said Rachel Moniz, Principal and Chief Operating Officer, HEI.
“With an incredible location in the heart of the Adirondacks, one surrounded by natural beauty and wonders, the lodge truly is the ‘base camp for area adventures.’
"Our goal is to ensure that
the Saranac Waterfront Lodge becomes the place to be, whether it’s enjoying a
special meal overlooking Lake Flower, hosting a business event in our LEED-certified
conference center or simply warming up with a hot cocoa in-between visits to
the famed Winter Carnival Ice Palace each February. We want to make The
Lodge a true destination for all.”

The hotel is minutes away from Lake Placid
and Tupper Lake, one hour from
Plattsburgh International Airport and two and a half hours from the Albany,
Burlington and Montreal International airports.

the resort also provides third-party boat rentals, as well as
seasonal activities, amenities and packages. The resort hosts a locals’ night on Tuesdays and
Thursdays featuring live music and has begun working with local food and
beverage producers to create a more regionalized farm-to-table experience in
the Boathouse restaurant.

“The Saranac
Waterfront Lodge is one of the best kept secrets in Adirondacks,” Moniz
added. “As we work toward increasing occupancy, improving guest
satisfaction scores and upgrading our fine dining experience, we will also
create more career opportunities, a recipe we are confident will further
benefit the local economy.”
