Black Bear Capital Partners Promotes Suraj Desai to Head of Hospitality and Capital Markets

Suraj Desai 

 

 New York, NY and Boca Raton, FL —Black Bear Capital Partners (BBCP), a real estate financial advisory firm and affiliate of Black Bear Asset Management (BBAM), has appointed Suraj Desai as Head of Hospitality and Head of Capital Markets for BBCP.  

Eric Trombly

Senior Managing Director Desai joined BBCP in February of 2021 after previously holding senior positions at Chicago-based Alpha Capital CRE and Mag Mile Capital. Since his start at BBCP, Desai has originated more than $300 million in Hotel and Multifamily transactions.

 

Newly based in Florida, Desai will be a part of BBCP’s new Tampa, Florida office starting Q1 of 2023. BBCP recently expanded their footprint by adding an office in Boca Raton, Florida in the early half of 2022.

Stuart Rich 

Desai will join current Senior Managing Director and Head of Southeast Region Eric Trombly, and Senior Managing Director Stuart Rich to spearhead expansion in Florida and the southeast region.
