Ware Malcomb Announces Construction Completed on The Alles Group Corporate Office in Mexico

MEXICO CITY – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the new corporate office of AG Innova Partners SA de CV, known as The Alles Group, located at Equus Parque Corporativo, in San Pedro Garza García, Nuevo León, México.

 Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the tenant improvement project.

The 480 square meter office space was designed for The Alles Group, a leading brokerage firm, and their partner EGA Project Management, a construction management firm.

The design features an open office environment with a reception area, multiple collaboration areas, a hospitality station which can be integrated with other adjacent spaces for teamwork, conference rooms of various sizes, private offices, phone booths, a print/copy station, and a break room.

“The Alles Group wanted a space that could serve as a showroom for the firm’s industrial market expertise, while also creating a warm and collaborative environment for employees, clients and visitors,” said Andres Galvis, Ware Malcomb Regional Director, Latin America. 

“This new corporate office meets the current needs of both The Alles Group and EGA Project Management, in addition to giving them the flexibility to continue to grow in the future.”

PLEASANTON, CA – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced construction is complete on the new Vallejo First 5 Center located at 3375 Sonoma Boulevard in Vallejo, Calif.

Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the project.

Ware Malcomb Announces Completion of ZS Associates Office in San Francisco, CA

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, July 28, 2020 – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the offices of ZS Associates located at 611 Gateway Boulevard in South San Francisco.

Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the project. 

ZS Associates, a global professional services firm, expanded its offices into 11,682 square feet in South San Francisco. 

A complete interior renovation of the space included a mixture of open office seating, collaboration spaces, meeting rooms, large training room, and an open kitchen area. The firm also maintains its existing office space on the 10th floor of the building.

Ware Malcomb Announces Completion of L'Oreal Pulp Riot Offices in Encino, CA

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 7, 2020 – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on L’Oreal’s new Pulp Riot offices located at 16501 Ventura Boulevard, Suite 400, in Encino, Calif. Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design services for the project. 

Pulp Riot is a professional brand of hair color known for its portfolio of cutting-edge products featuring bold and vibrant colors and a dedication to artistic expression. 

Their new 6,600 square foot office space includes a hair demo salon, conference rooms, open offices, flex offices and a photo studio. The space serves as a training facility for stylists throughout the country who frequently visit to learn how to create innovative hair styles with Pulp Riot’s wide array of coloring products.

“This is a company with a very distinct brand, and we wanted the interior design to showcase that brand and tell a story throughout the space,” said Alicia Zaro, Director of Interior Architecture & Design for Ware Malcomb’s Los Angeles office.

“In working closely with the team at L’Oreal and Pulp Riot, we created an environment where the company’s branding could speak for itself in a space that inspires innovation and creativity for employees and visitors alike.” 

Ware Malcomb selected materials that used simple textures in contrasting ways. Black, white, and greys were paired with simple white walls to allow blank canvases for the company’s branding, creating huge statement walls. 

Darker ceilings were incorporated to allow for a deep contrast with the pops of colors on the walls, which were provided by a graffiti artist who had also worked on Pulp Riot’s branding and packaging.

The conference rooms were designed around the names and color tones of Pulp Riot’s popular hair color products. Each one is unique and reflects a specific brand. 

Acoustical clouds were dropped in the main conference room with organic flowing carpet to create a grand entry for the space adjacent to the demo salon. Ware Malcomb also selected furniture colors that tied into the overall branding concept.

Ware Malcomb Announces Completion of Karcher Headquarters Facility in Aurora, CO

DENVER, CO, June 30, 2020 – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the new North America headquarters facility of Kärcher located at 6398 N. Kärcher Way in Aurora, Colorado.

Ware Malcomb provided architecture, interior design, civil engineering and land surveying services for the project. 

Kärcher, the world's leading provider of cleaning technology, consolidated their manufacturing from campuses in Englewood, CO and Camas, WA to create a new 380,000 build-to-suit headquarters facility featuring approximately 275,000 square feet of warehouse, R&D and manufacturing space along with 100,000 square feet of office space on a 23-acre site. 

The new facility is located in the Porteos development near Denver International Airport.

“This new state-of-the-art facility is designed to allow Kärcher to operate more efficiently, optimize its manufacturing and production capabilities, and improve its customer experience – all while positioning the company for future growth,” said Matt Chaiken, Principal of Ware Malcomb’s Denver office.

“We worked closely with Kärcher to ensure every element of the project – from the civil engineering and land surveying process to the architecture and interior design – met the company’s immediate needs and specifications, as well as its long term goals,” said Chris Strawn, Principal of Ware Malcomb’s Denver Civil Engineering office.

The building interior features a grand, open three-story staircase with decorative linear lighting and cable railings.

Ware Malcomb Announces Construction is Complete on Sam Clar Office Furniture Corporate Office and Showroom in Concord, CA

PLEASANTON, CA – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced construction is complete on the newly re-built Sam Clar Office Furniture corporate office and showroom located at 1221 Diamond Way in Concord, Calif.

Ware Malcomb provided architecture, interior design and civil engineering services for the project.

Founded in 1939, Sam Clar Office Furniture is one of the leading providers of commercial office environments in the Bay Area and is now owned and managed by the 4th generation of the Clar family.

Construction began last year on the renovation of the company’s 18,922 square foot facility, which was severely damaged in a warehouse fire on Thanksgiving Day in 2015.

Ware Malcomb Names Michael Christensen to Lead Firm's New Office in Washington, DC

 IRVINE, CA  – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced the opening of a new office in Washington, D.C., bringing the total number of Ware Malcomb offices across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Panama to 24.

Founded in 1972, the firm provides planning, architecture, interior design, branding and civil engineering services for commercial real estate and corporate clients.

The newest Ware Malcomb office is located at 1301 K Street NW in Washington, D.C. The firm has completed over 100 projects in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area including Virginia and Maryland, for clients including Medline, Xfinity and Alston Construction, among many others.

He has worked on projects across the United States, as well as internationally. Christensen holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Interior Design from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
