Tilt-Con Starts Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, FL

ORLANDO, FL – Altamonte Springs-based Tilt-Con Corporation is under way on the Health Care District of Palm Beach County’s new Lakeside Medical Center, a technologically-advanced, multimillion-dollar hospital now under construction on a 50-acre site at US 441 and State Road 80 in Belle Glade, FL, under its contract with Skanska USA Building, Inc., Tampa, FL.

Designed by Gresham, Smith and Partners, Hollywood, FL, the 168,646-square-foot facility will replace Glades General Hospital, Palm Beach County’s only public hospital, when opened later this year.

KISSIMMEE, FL – Altamonte Springs-based Tilt-Con Corporation completed the new 53,893-square-foot Osceola County Joint Communication Emergency Operations Center at 2588 Partin Settlement Road in Kissimmee, FL.

The project consisted of a 2-story building, chiller yard and command vehicle shelter.

ORLANDO, FL – Altamonte Springs-based Tilt-Con Corporation is prominently ranked as the 30th largest privately-held company in Central Florida according to Orlando Business Journal’s annual Golden 100 survey published September 19. The company, which reported 2007 revenues of $100 million, was recognized at the 2008 Golden 100 Ultimate CEOs luncheon that drew over 600 attendees at the JW Marriott Hotel in Orlando, FL.

Asked for the key to growing a healthy business, Tilt-Con chairman Robert W. Theisen, Jr.(top right photo) stated “Hiring and retaining the right people and having the right vision for the future.”

He said that his greatest business accomplishment is turning the company into one of the largest of its kind in America and helping to transform Florida into one of the largest tilt-up markets in the country.

Orlando-based Tilt-Con Corp. Starts Miami-Dade County Public Schools' New High School

MIAMI, FL – Orlando-based Tilt-Con Corporation is under way on Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ new 6-building 157,735-square-foot High School YYY-1 at 11035 SW 84th Street, Miami, FL, under its contract with Betancourt Castellon Associates, Inc. (BCA), FL.

Selected for its unrivaled performance and speed of execution, Tilt-Con utilizes its economical system for tilt-up concrete walls. Mark. W. Theisen Sr. (top right photo) is president of Tilt-Con Corp.

Ranked as Florida’s largest tilt-up concrete constructor by Engineering News-Record magazine, Tilt-Con’s scope of work includes foundations, slab-on-grade and tilt-up concrete wall panels. Slated for completion in September 2008, the project was designed by Silva Architects, Miami, FL.
