Colorado Springs, CO (Oct. 15, 2020) – Owners and principals of several of the largest real estate firms in North America during their stockholders meeting on October 7 unanimously elected Lacey Merrick Conway, president and CEO of New Orleans-based Latter & Blum Real Estate Company to the board of directors of The Realty Alliance, a network of top-producing brokerages.
The Realty Alliance comprises 70 full-service, residential real estate
companies, representing more than 130,000 salespeople and several thousand
support staff and employees of affiliated businesses such as mortgage, title,
insurance and property management.

The organization allows member firms to keep their own brand, but if measured against the top names in real estate, The Realty Alliance would be in the top three in the world measured by sales volume, transactions and agent count.
“It is an honor to be elected to the board of directors for The Realty
Alliance. The Realty Alliance represents a collection of some of the brightest
minds in the real estate industry and I am excited to oversee the network’s
advocacy efforts,” said Conway.
Latter & Blum joined The Realty Alliance in 1997 and is the largest
independently owned residential real estate company in the Gulf South.
Conway
will help plan and direct the activities of The Realty Alliance, which include
developing and implementing support services for member companies, as well as
overseeing the network’s advocacy efforts as it works to shape policy and
practice within the industry and with various lawmakers and regulators.
Ultimately the group seeks to improve the home-buying experience for consumers and to help brokers and their sales force be more efficient. Conway will begin her three-year term November 1.
“Lacey brings the valuable perspective of a new generation of leadership,” said Craig Cheatham, president and CEO of The Realty Alliance.
“She exemplifies the new face of our organization, which has seen the baton passed in many of our firms in recent years, but her connection with our founders will help ensure she represents the entirety of our membership.
"She has proven her ability to lead one of the most prominent real estate companies in North America and has been a fantastic contributor to the industry at large through her participation in The Realty Alliance.
"We look forward to her work in helping shape real estate in positive ways through this new, influential position on our board, and to implementing her ideas for better supporting our member firms.”
