Ware Malcomb Promotes Nick Edwards and Mike Piraino in Oak Brook, IL Office

OAK BROOK, IL – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced that Nick Edwards has been promoted to Studio Manager, Architecture and Mike Piraino has been promoted to Studio Manager, Interior Architecture & Design in the firm’s Oak Brook office.

As Studio Manager, Architecture, Edwards helps lead the growth and management of the Architecture Studio and manages select projects.

 He joined Ware Malcomb in 2021 as Project Manager and has overseen all aspects of architectural projects. In addition, he has been instrumental in fostering client relationships and team member developmen

 Edwards is a licensed architect and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Ohio State University, and a Master of Architecture degree from University of Illinois Chicago.

Piraino brings more than 23 years of experience to his role, adept with a variety of project types including corporate headquarters, office, multifamily, industrial and manufacturing projects.

 A licensed architect in the state of Illinois, Piraino attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he earned Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture degrees.

Martin Huff joins DXD Capital as Director of Investor Relations

 Denver, CO -- Martin Huff has joined DXD Capital as Director of Investor Relations, based in Denver, CO.

 Most recently, Martin oversaw two major adaptive reuse mixed-use developments (Highside Market and Midcity Yards) as a Principal with The Cotton Companies  in his hometown of Columbus, GA.

 Additionally, Martin played a pivotal role in the expansion of Fetch Park (now five locations), where he led real estate development and construction for the urban dog park and bar concept.

Martin spent the prior 13 years in Spartanburg, SC, where he served as the Director of Operations for Morning View Communities  (nine communities across four states), a prominent manufactured home property management company, and nine years at The Johnson Group, a family office.  There, he contributed to the self storage team's strategic nationwide growth, encompassing over 65 ground-up developments with over $800M in project cost.

Martin received his Bachelor of Arts from Wofford College.
