TAMPA, FL, Feb. 19, 2019 – GRECO Aluminum Railings (GRECO), a leading manufacturer of high-quality engineered railing and safety systems for multi-family and commercial structures in the United States and Canada, is pleased to announce that they have been awarded the railing package for one of Chicago’s newest planned apartment developments in the city’s booming South Loop area.

The Alta Grand Central is designed by architect Pappageorge Haymes Partners , and is a two-building development, 14-stories each with a total of 346 units. The ultra-contemporary glass design incorporates GRECO’s slim lined aluminum and glass railings throughout the building’s facades.

“We are excited to be involved with Walsh Construction on another Chicago project,” says Jim Ellsworth, President of GRECO’s US operations.

“Our engineering team offered a contemporary railing solution that worked seamlessly with the architect’s façade design all while keeping the railing package competitively priced.”

The Alta Grand Center towers will be located at Wells and Harrison in Chicago’s South Loop area. The developer is Atlanta-based Wood Partners .
