The Castell Project, Inc. Accepting 2020 Nominations for Expanded Leadership Programs

ATLANTA, GA —Officials of Castell Project, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the careers of women professionals in the hospitality industry, announced that the organization is accepting nominations for its expanded 2020 Castell Leadership Programs. 

“Now celebrating our fourth year, we have expanded our educational offerings to respond to the changing needs of our participants,” said Peggy Berg, president, Castell Project, Inc.  

“We find that participant needs vary depending on where each woman is in her career arc.  With that in mind, we created ‘BUILD’ for emerging female hospitality industry leaders and ‘ELEVATE’ for established female leaders ready to refine their skillsets and prime themselves for top roles.”

Prominent Landscape Architects Relocate from Downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fl --- NAI Realvest completed a new long-term lease agreement with a prominent landscape architecture firm who will be relocating and opening operations this spring at the Lucerne Plaza, 100 W. Lucerne Circle just south of downtown Orlando.

Jeff Bloom CCIM, Vice President at NAI Realvest negotiated the transaction on behalf of the local landlord, Global Motor Inns d/b/a Lucerne Plaza.
Foster Conant & Associates, award-winning Orlando landscape architects for more than 50 years, plans to be open in their new 3,970 square foot suite at Lucerne Plaza by April 1.

Bloom also closed on a long-term lease late last year with Philadelphia-based Open Systems Healthcare who opened this month (January) at Lucerne Plaza .  The home health service firm with a network of caregivers has nearly 20 locations in a dozen US cities.   Open Systems Healthcare was represented by Amanda McClure with CBRE.

Plaza Advisors Brokers Sale of 119,924 -SF Cortez Commons Shopping Center in Bradenton, FL

 TAMPA, FL -- Plaza Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of the Cortez Commons Shopping Center, located in Bradenton, Florida. 

The 119,924 square foot plaza is directly across from the highest volume Walmart Supercenter in southwest Florida, from Bradenton to Naples.

 Cortez Commons features anchor tenants: Big Lots, Tuesday Morning and You Fit. The asset was 88% occupied at the time of sale.

The property tenant roster includes several medical related entities including; Davita Medical, Greenberg Dental, Hear USA, Quest Diagnostics and HMP Medical. Other notable tenants are Fantastic Sam’s, Peach’s Restaurant and Enterprise Car Rental.

 The seller was Wisconsin based MLG Capital Real Estate Investments. The Buyer was an affiliate of Clover Investment Properties, LLC a privately held real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Tampa, FL.

Hold-Thyssen Closes Two Long-Term Flex Leases for Businesses Expanding in Edgewater Commerce Center

ORLANDO, FL and WINTER PARK, FL --- Hold-Thyssen, Inc., a full-service commercial property firm based in Winter Park, recently negotiated two new leases with businesses expanding services into the Orlando market.

 Associate Troy Stevens represented Landlord Z Asset Management, a So. Florida based private equity firm in both transactions for flex space at Edgewater Commerce Center , 6250 Edgewater Drive in the College Park area.

 The new tenants are Ocala-based Centurion Exteriors of Florida a windows installation business who leased 2,400 square feet and El Paso, Texas-based HQ Builders a custom homebuilder and remodeler who leased 900 square feet. 

 Edgewater Commerce Center ’s occupancy is up to 86 percent.   Centurion Interiors and HQ Builders join existing tenants such as Hotzy Pressure Washers and Castle Window.
