Avanath appoints two new Vice Presidents to its property management division

 IRVINE, CA – Avanath Capital Management LLC, a multifamily owner and operator that primarily focuses on affordable and workforce housing, announces the continued expansion of its property management team and capabilities this year.

As part of the firm’s commitment to implementing multifamily operational strategies and professional opportunities that optimize the employee and resident experiences as well as property performance, Avanath appointed 
Kat Flowers
as Vice President, Education and Program Development and Matt Race as Vice President, Building Services, according to Avanath’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO Daryl J. Carter.

 Prior to joining Avanath, Flowers spent over 15 years with Legacy Partners Residential in a multitude of roles. In addition to her time at Legacy, Kat has been an active trainer in multiple NAA certifications for the past decade through the Apartment Association of Metro Denver.

 Flowers holds her CAM and CAPS certifications and is an AAMD Tribute Award Winner as their selection for “Most Outstanding Community Manager” in Colorado.

As Vice President of Building Services, Matt Race has developed a maintenance centralization platform focused on asset preservation, as well as training and networking initiatives for the Avanath team since joining this year.

Shay Pope joins Stream, a national commercial real estate firm offering a differentiated, integrated platform of services, as a Managing Director and Executive Vice President in the company’s South Florida location.

The industry veteran brings nearly 23 years of experience to Stream’s newest operation, led by Executive Managing Director and Partner Greg Katz.

 

 Prior to Stream, Pope spent nearly 11 years at CBRE in Miami, where he last served as a Senior Vice President.
