First Green Bank to issue stock offerings in January with shares valued at $13 each, minimum 20,000 shares required



 MOUNT DORA, FL --- First Green Bank, lauded as one of the nation’s most environmentally responsible financial institutions with locations in Mount Dora, Clermont and Ormond Beach, will issue a public stock offering in the first quarter of 2013 with shares valued at $13 each.

Kenneth LaRoe (lower right photo), chairman and chief executive officer of First Green Bank, said the offering will include a $20,000 minimum individual purchase requirement.

First Green Bank posted an annual profit of $543,000 for 2011, the culmination of 22 consecutive months of profitability.

Berger Commercial Realty Announces New Deal from Broker Steve Hyatt




 FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (Aug.  7, 2012) – Berger Commercial Realty, a full service commercial real estate firm based in Fort Lauderdale and serving clients around the state, announced a new deal from Senior Vice President Steve Hyatt.

 Hyatt represented KeyCorp Real Estate Capital Markets in the sale of a two-story,12-unit, garden style apartment building known as Holiday Park Apartments, located at 745 NE 15th Ave. in Fort Lauderdale, for $850,000 to 745 NE Avenue, LLC, doing business as Maven Real Estate.

 Berger Special Assets first served as receiver, then provided management services and has now sold the property located near Holiday Park in central Fort Lauderdale.

Emerson International Completes New Long Term and Expansion Leases at Altamonte Lakeside Office Park in Altamonte Springs, FL



ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. --- Emerson International recently negotiated a new long term lease and an expansion lease agreement with an existing tenant at Altamonte Lakeside Park (lower left photo) on Cranes Roost Blvd. in Altamonte Springs totaling more than 4,800 square feet.

 Kenneth R. Koch (top right photo), commercial portfolio director at Emerson International, said Sodexo is the tenant at 283 Cranes Roost Blvd who expanded  by 3,214 square feet bringing its total occupancy to 21,426 square feet.  Sara Wardrup of Mohr Partners represented Sodexo.

 Uptown Realty Group signed a new five-year lease for 1,647 square feet at 307 Cranes Roost Blvd. for a new Real Estate office.

Cranes Move, Construction Begins at Buckhead Atlanta


                   
 ATLANTA, GA (Aug. 7, 2012) – The cranes over Atlanta’s Buckhead community swung into action today as developer OliverMcMillan starts construction on Buckhead Atlanta, what will become the Southeast’s newest luxury destination. A team of construction workers mobilized at 7 a.m. this morning.

Tandem Construction, Union League Boys & Girls Club Celebrate Completion of Phase One Addition and Renovation of 19th Century Pilsen Community Clubhouse


 



Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Michael Chioros, chair of the Union League Boys & Girls Club renovation project, cut the ribbon on a 17,000-square-foot addition to Union League Boys & Girls Club One in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood, as other project team members including Tony Andrews from Tandem Construction look on.

CHICAGO, IL (Aug. 7, 2012) - A late 19th century Chicago building that has been “a beacon of light and a refuge” for thousands of members of the Union League Boys and Girls Club in the city’s near southwest side Pilsen neighborhood for 92 years, has a bright new future.

 Chicago’s Mayor Rahm Emanuel led a tour last week for scores of community and civic leaders, educators, donors, Club alumni, members of the Union League Club of Chicago, contractor Tandem Construction and architect Antunovich Associates, of the new four-story, 17,000-square-foot addition to the original Union League Boys & Girls Club at 2157 West 19th Street.
