HFF announces sale and financing of 9-property seniors housing portfolio in southeastern U.S.

DALLAS, TX –– Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, L.P. (HFF) announces the sale and financing of a nine-property seniors housing portfolio totaling 1,558 units across the southeastern United States.

The HFF team marketed the property on behalf of the seller, Dominion Partners, acting on behalf of its affiliated partner, Somerby Senior Living.

Bridge Investment Group purchased the offering free and clear of existing debt.  Additionally, the team worked on the new owner’s behalf to advise on acquisition financing.

The portfolio, which has an average weighted vintage of 2012, includes seven stabilized assets averaging 94.3 percent occupancy and two assets in the late stages of lease-up.

All of the communities are located in diversified, high-barrier-to-entry markets with a unit mix that includes 134 independent living villas, 771 independent living units, 393 assisted living units and 260 memory care units.

Selig Enterprises Announces Tap Room and Food Hall at The Works on Upper West Side in Atlanta, GA

ATLANTA (Jan. 11, 2019) – Selig Enterprises, one of the largest real estate companies in the Southeast, announced  an R&D brewery and tap room byScofflaw Brewing Co. founders Matt Shirah and Travis Herman and a food hall by Robert Montwaid will join The Works, an 80-acre adaptive mixed-use development in Atlanta’s burgeoning Upper Westside.

Both Scofflaw’s and Montwaid’s teams are best-in-class innovators in their industries. Scofflaw Brewing, one of the fastest growing breweries in history, is now finishing its fourth expansion in two years at another Selig property on the Westside. 

Since its launch in 2016, Scofflaw has been named one of the best new breweries in America by BeerAdvocate, RateBeer, USA TodayCraft Beer & Brewing and others.

Robert Montwaid, of Gansevoort Consulting, is best known for co-founding Gansevoort Market next to Chelsea Market in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. 

The long-established food hall has been in business for five years and is consistently ranked among the country’s best food halls. Montwaid launched Gansevoort Consulting to pursue his distinctive vision for the food hall business. 

Today, Gansevoort Consulting is in design and construction of over 62,000 square feet of market space between Minneapolis and Chicago, with plans for additional expansion in Manhattan. Chattahoochee Food Works, the food hall at The Works, marks the firm’s first venture in Atlanta.

Mindy Selig, Vice President of Leasing at Selig Enterprises, leads retail leasing efforts for The Works. According to Selig, Montwaid and Scofflaw reflect the caliber of creative talent coming to the development.

Ware Malcomb Announces Construction Completed on CBRE Offices in San Francisco, CA

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, announced construction is complete on the new offices of the property management division of CBRE located at 150 California Street, 4th Floor in San Francisco. 

Ware Malcomb provided interior architecture and design and branding services for the project.

The new offices of CBRE, a global commercial real estate services and investment firm, span 14,000 square feet and a full floor of the landmark 150 California building in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district.

In addition to providing interior architecture and design and branding services, Ware Malcomb also selected new furniture for the office.
       
“Our goal was to design a space that was highly functional for the CBRE team and consistent with their internal brand guidelines, while making it unique to the dynamic San Francisco market in which they operate,” said Rhea Butler, Director of Interior Architecture & Design of Ware Malcomb’s San Francisco office.
