Julie Martin Barfield Named General Manager of Dual-Brand Courtyard by Marriott/Residence Inn Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square

 SHELTON, CT -— Brian Wismar, regional vice president of New Castle Hotels & Resorts, a leading third-party hotel management company, owner and developer, announced that Julie Martin Barfield has been named general manager of the 180-room, dual-brand Courtyard by Marriott/Residence Inn Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square.

A career hotelier, Barfield most recently was the director of operations for the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and Conference Center.  Previously, she was the hotel’s director of finance.  Earlier in her career, Barfield was the general manager for the Courtyard by Marriott in East Syracuse.

“Julie brings an exceptional set of skills to this job.  She is a seasoned hotel executive with direct brand experience and she is a lifelong Syracuse resident who is passionate about sharing her hometown with visitors,” said Wismar.

B+E Hires Two New Professionals

Kane Morris-Webster
                      Kane Morris-Webster joins B+E as Senior Director

TAMPA, Florida, Oct. 1, 2018 – B+E, the first tech-driven brokerage and trading platform for net lease real estate, today announced the hiring of Kane Morris-Webster as Senior Director.

“We are pleased to welcome Kane to B+E,” said Camille Renshaw, B+E CEO.  “She is an incredibly hard worker and strategic thinker and has worked on transactions ranging from raw land development to shopping center sales to net lease investments.

Prior to joining B+E, Morris-Webster was Senior Director of the Investments and Capital Markets division at LandQwest Commercial.  Previously, she worked at Colliers International for over 15 years. 

Camille Renshaw

Morris-Webster is the incoming Chair for Florida's International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Florida Idea Exchange Conference.  She is a past State CCIM President for Florida and remains active in the organization.  She is also active in her community with many different charitable organizations.  

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the University of Florida --Warrington College of Business.



Hayden Salvas
Hayden Salvas joins B+E as an Analyst

SAN FRANCISCO,  CA, Oct. 1,  2018 – B+E, the first tech-driven brokerage and trading platform for net lease real estate, today announced the hiring of Hayden Salvas as an Analyst.

In his role, he will support the brokerage team in lead production, pricing, marketing and closing; conduct market research and tenant analysis; produce internal reports on different asset types and keep his team apprised on industry news and trends.

Hayden had previously worked at Sansome Pacific Properties where he was involved with abstracting purchase/sale agreements and single tenant leases; research; database management; property management and due diligence.

Salvas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in finance, from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
