WEST PALM BEACH, FL, Nov, 28, 2011 – Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services, the nation’s largest real estate investment services firm, has announced the sale of Century Village Medical Office (top left photo), a 28,346 square foot medical office building, according to Gregory Matus, Vice President/Regional Manager of the Ft Lauderdale office.
Located within Century Village, an age-restricted community in West Palm Beach, Florida, the building sold for $7,100,000.
Douglas K. Mandel (middle right photo), a Vice President Investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Ft. Lauderdale office, represented the seller, a limited liability company from Boca Raton. The buyer, an investor from Pompano Beach, was also represented by Mandel.
“The property is located within Century Village, providing residents easy access to medical and pharmaceutical services,” says Mandel.
“Due to its unique location, the Century Village Medical Office will remain in high demand for physicians and related professionals. The complex has also undergone substantial renovation and expansion of two of the tenants, which include Walgreens, Tenet Healthcare and Comprehensive Home Health.”
Century Village is a gated, 55 and over community in West Palm Beach consisting of approximately 6,000 condominiums. The Century Village Medical Office building is located at 100-110 Century Boulevard.

Pulte Homes introduces five new floor plans including Pulte Planning Centers at Berkshire Park in Windermere, FL
ORLANDO, FL --- Pulte Homes has introduced five new floor plans with new featured “Pulte Planning Centers” and “Drop Zones” at Berkshire Park located in Windermere. A Grand Opening is set for Saturday, Dec.10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Berkshire Park that will feature Pulte’s new Madison model home.
Sean Strickler, Vice President of Sales for Pulte Homes in Central Florida, said the new floor plans include three, four, five and six bedroom designs that range in size from 2,430 square feet of living space to 3,649 square feet boasting such features as first floor owner’s suites, three-car garages, granite countertops and tile floors.
Strickler said Pulte Homes is introducing two big new features at Berkshire Park: “Pulte Planning Centers and Drop Zones.” These new features were integrated into the new floorplans because of feedback derived from focus groups conducted with its homeowners.

LOS ANGELES, CA, Nov. 28, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that it has named Erin Shaffer (top right photo) as the new Vice President of Marketing for the firm’s Southwest Region.
Ms. Shaffer comes to Jones Lang LaSalle from sbe Entertainment where she served as National Marketing Director, responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies including brand positioning, global partnerships promotions, public relations and digital platforms across the sbe portfolio of brands including SLS Hotels, Gladstones and Katsuya.
Throughout her career, she has held executive marketing positions with Hilton Hotels Corporation and Starwood Hotels and Resorts.
In her new role, Ms. Shaffer will lead the development and implementation of strategic marketing/business development programs to drive Jones Lang LaSalle’s business in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada. The firm provides brokerage, management, financial and consulting services to commercial real estate owners, occupiers and investors.
