Jeremy Young

TAMPA, FL—PulteGroup’s West Florida Division has announced that Jeremy Young has been promoted to Construction Manager.

Young joined Pulte in 2014 as a Senior Customer Care Manager before being promoted to Senior Field Manager in 2017.

In his new role, Young is tasked with overseeing the build quality experience for homeowners in several Pulte and Centex communities south of I-4 in the Tampa market.

Young’s responsibilities in this role go beyond operational duties. He will also help develop the company’s talent by providing training opportunities and continuous coaching with regards to functional and leadership standards, ensure staffing is appropriate, evaluate performance and create opportunities for growth.

Sean Strickler

“Young has been a tremendous asset to our division for more than four years,” said Sean Strickler, President of Pulte’s West Florida Division. “As we plan to open 11 communities in 2019, we need a strong team, with even stronger leadership to help deliver the exceptional build experience our buyers are looking for.”

“I am looking forward to the opportunity to step up into a higher leadership role with construction in our West Florida Division,” said Young. “I am thankful to have a leadership team that supports and values me as a person. Pulte’s engagement initiatives make coming to work less of a job and more of a career.”

New Smyrna ’s Largest Freestanding Commercial Building Sold by NAI Realvest Charles Wayne

Former New Smyrna Chevrolt Dealership Buiding
1919 North Dixie Freeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL

Brian Adair
NEW SMYRNA BEACH , FL – The New Smyrna Beach Auto Mile has gotten a makeover.
With the sale of the former New Smyrna Chevrolet dealership at 1919 N. Dixie Freeway, NAI Realvest Charles Wayne has brought new life to the city’s largest freestanding commercial building.
Brian Adair and Ted Lightman of NAI Realvest Charles Wayne represented Capital Automotive, a Virginia-based investment company that owned the 6.56 acres of land and 72,000 square feet retail, parking, and service buildings along North US-1.  The property sold for $2,650,000.

The new owner, Sailsup Inc. will be housing its related company, Sun Coast Roofing, at the property.  Sailsup Inc. is owned by Rick Tauscher, and was represented in the transaction by local real estate broker David Wiley.
“This sale is indicative of the economic shift we’re seeing nationwide in commercial real-estate due to shifting consumer preferences,” explained Adair.  “As brick and mortar retailers downsize due in part to trends favoring online shopping, new users for older facilities are emerging with a need for well-located real estate.”
“Many commercial buildings now several decades old are simply too large to provide what retailers look for in today’s economic environment,” added Lightman.  “However, as Sailsup’s purchase here demonstrates, some of these properties can be ideal for regional businesses.”

Many companies seek locations from which they can recruit and attract employees, while serving a large but specific geographic area for their customers.

“1919 N. Dixie Freeway is an ideal centralized hub servicing Volusia County, as well as parts of Seminole and Brevard,” said Adair.

NAI Realvest Charles Wayne was formed when Charles Wayne Properties, Inc.’s brokerage operation in Daytona Beach , partnered with NAI Realvest in 2017 to enhance service to the firms’ customer bases across all of central Florida .
