Rhodes+Brito Architectural Firm Names Adel Shalaby Principal

Orlando, Fla. --- Rhodes+Brito, Inc., 2016 Orlando Firm of the Year, recently announced the promotion of Adel Shalaby to Principal in the firm.  He is a registered architect, a LEED Accredited Professional and Project Management Professional (PMP).

Max Brito said Shalaby was formerly a project manager and has been with Rhodes+Brito more than four years.  He is a 20-year veteran in the architectural field and was instrumental in securing Disney as a client of the firm.

A graduate of the University of Cairo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Shalaby earned his Master’s Degree in Interior Design at the University of Florida.  

He also has 12 years of experience as a graphic designer and is skilled in a vast array of design and architectural technology programs.  

During his career Shalaby has  Shalabybeen responsible for an exclusive portfolio of Fortune 500 clients, Including Bank of America, Fifth Third Bank and US Trust to name a few.

Since joining Rhodes+Brito, Shalaby’s role has included supervising architectural design teams, managing construction documents, administration and overseeing projects from conception through construction.   

Shalaby is the first principal Rhodes+Brito has named in 18 years.  “During the past four years my partners and I have witnessed firsthand Adel’s commitment to our firm and our clients in the Central Florida community,” said Brito.

Rhodes+Brito opened for business in downtown Orlando in 1996 and currently employs a staff of 21 including eight registered architects. 

The company has completed hundreds of projects, including the landmark Florida A&M University College of Law, Citrus Bowl Renovation, countless schools, libraries, community centers, parks and administrative buildings.
