BEVERLY PARK, BEVERLY HILLS, CA -- With a list price large enough to make a billionaire’s eyes water, currently listed at $160 million, one of America’s most expensive homes, Villa Firenze, will be going to auction on Jan. 26 with no reserve and no minimum bid.

 Denzel Washington

Insulated on 10 acres in Beverly Park, the most exclusive part of Beverly Hills, it is the most expensive U.S. home ever to go to auction.

Sylvester Stallone

Naturally, such an expensive home would be located in Los Angeles' most expensive neighborhood, according to TopTenRealEstateDeals.com

Mark Wahlberg

Not only is Beverly Park guard-gated at the north and south entrances, there are gates within the community as well as gates to each residence - some with private guards.

Denzel Washington, Sylvester Stallone, Mark Wahlberg and more red-carpet regulars and business moguls call Beverly Park home.

With land scarce in most wealthy L.A. neighborhoods, that isn’t the case in Beverly Park.  Lot sizes come in acres rather than square feet and the most expensive home is sprawled across 10 acres.

Encompassing 28,660 square feet, Villa Firenze houses 13 bedrooms, 17 full baths and eight half baths.

Outstanding features include huge windows - some two-story, large Old World-style fireplaces and surrounds, coffered ceilings and wide-arched walk-throughs.

The exquisitely landscaped motor court is surrounded by exotic 40-foot Canary Island palm trees, a central landscaped fountain, and has parking for up to 30 cars.

Opening to a grand foyer, the area beyond contains 20,000 square feet of formal entertaining space.  The grounds contain a two-story guest house, huge pool pavilion with pool house, and a tennis court.

There is a jogging/walking trail around the perimeter of the property.  Grassy lawns, water features, rose gardens and other gardens and multiple verandas for outdoor entertaining assure activities for everyone.

One of America’s most expensive mansions, currently listed at $160 million, will be auctioned by Concierge Auctions in cooperation with agents Jeff Hyland and Rick Hilton of Hilton & Hyland, Beverly Hills on January 26th with no reserve and no minimum bid.

184-Room Holiday Inn Resort, Wrightsville Beach, NC

 Robert S. Hunter

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of a 184-room Holiday Inn Resort located just outside Wilmington in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. The asset sold for $30.25 million.

“This Holiday Inn Resort drew a tremendous amount of national interest because of its location in a high-end beach destination with an undeniably high ceiling,” stated Robert S. Hunter, first vice president investments and senior director of Marcus & Millichap’s Hospitality Division.

Christopher J.
Martin

“North Carolina is consistently recognized as one of the fastest-growing states and Wrightsville Beach is a short drive from its largest population centers.”

Hunter and Marcus & Millichap’s Christopher J. Martin and David J. Altman, all based in Fort Lauderdale, along with R. McLean Hicklin III in the firm’s Columbia, South Carolina office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private partnership.

The buyer, a limited liability company, was secured and represented by Hunter, Hicklin III and Martin. Ben Yelm, regional manager, assisted in closing the transaction.

“New hotel supply in Wrightsville Beach faces multi-layered barriers to entry that are unmatched by other most seasonal leisure markets,” added Hunter.

“Ultimately, the premium for those barriers and the desirability of the asset itself helped restore value to roughly 86% of pre-COVID market value.”

Built in 1999, this seven-story Holiday Inn Resort is located directly on Wrightsville Beach.

The hotel has over 8,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 400-person capacity ballroom, three swimming pools with two whirlpools, two restaurants, a lounge, a fitness center, a sand volleyball court, a Kid Spree Vacation Club, and a shuttle service.
