Atlantic Retail Hires John Dottore and Suzanne Pinel Washburn for New Orlando, FL Office

Orlando, FL, Nov. 10, 2020 -- Atlantic Retail is thrilled to announce that John Dottore and Suzanne Pinel Washburn have joined us as Partners and will open our seventh regional office in Orlando, Florida. This will be our second office in Florida and will enhance our service offerings throughout the state.

Formerly of The Shopping Center Group, John is an industry veteran with more than 30 years of experience, having managed both his own brokerage firm as well as regional offices for larger national firms.

While offering a full suite of real estate services, John is a tenant representation specialist and currently represents Athleta, AutoZone, Best Buy, Car Max, Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Golf Galaxy, LA Fitness, Old Navy, PetSmart, and Snooze AM CafĂ© Sprouts Farmers Market.

Suzanne joins us from CBRE where she held the position of Senior Vice President. During her career, spanning more than 25 years, she has worked for national and regional retailers in their site acquisition and excess space disposition requirements.

For more than two decades, she has been the lead point of contact for Target’s excess space disposition throughout the southeast and select national markets. She has also worked with retailers such as Kohl’s, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Office Depot, Walgreens, 24 Hour Fitness, and Wawa.

This new venture will mark a reunion of sorts for John and Suzanne. They previously worked together at CBRE in the late 90’s and have enjoyed a close collegial relationship ever since.

They will round out their team with Mara Frumkin, formerly of The Shopping Center Group. Mara Represents Tropical Smoothie, Venetian Nail Spa, Geico, Cookies, and I Heart Mac N Cheese.

The office will be focused on offering tenant representation and third party leasing services throughout the state of Florida as well as site (land) acquisition and disposition.

When combined with Atlantic’s current West Palm Beach office, the firm will have 11 brokers representing nearly 60 retailers and 90 retail sites.

Grand Opening Underway for New Upscale Transitional Brownstones near Downtown Orlando, FL

ORLANDO, FL – Phase one of Venue at SoDo, a chic new $8 million townhome development just south of downtown Orlando is open.     

Prospective homebuyers seeking a new spacious residence with urban conveniences are getting a firsthand look at the much-anticipated luxury townhomes, where the builder’s model grand opening is taking place.

The development at 38 W. Jersey St. features three-story units with a square footage of 2,108, according to Roger Soderstrom, Jr. and Marisol Santiago Soderstrom of Stirling International Real Estate who are marketing the 17 modern townhomes.  Prices range from the mid to upper $400,000s.

“We’re offering the fully-loaded model for sale with a builder leaseback,” Roger Soderstrom, Jr. said. “With aggressive financing terms and up to one percent of the mortgage cost as a closing cost credit from the developer’s lender, the investor will receive a nine percent net return.”

The townhomes all offer two-car, rear-entry garages, fenced garden patios, and different living areas on each of the floors, he explained.

Venue SoDo’s detailed exterior and thoughtfully appointed interior was designed by Orlando-based architects Studio 407.  Soderstrom said they captured all the best elements of high-quality housing with a structured, smart use of space. The construction is being handled by General Contractor Big Green Construction.

The development offers comfort, style, security and walkability in a historic neighborhood of parks, trails, along with restaurants, cafes, shops and grocery stores, said Marisol Soderstrom.
