Integrated Capital, LLC is an African-American real estate group and a shining example of Marriott's Diversity Ownership Initiative. The hotel is the sixth Marriott minority-owned hotel scheduled to open in Prince George's County.

Located in Prince George's County and cited as the most affluent African-American county in the U.S. by Ebony magazine (Nov. 2006 issue), the National Harbor Project offers over 350 acres of residential, commercial and retail space. It is scheduled to debut in the summer of 2007.

In 2005, Marriott made a pledge to have 500 minority- and woman-owned hotels by 2010. Today, Marriott has reached its goal ahead of schedule and currently boasts more than 500 hotels that are open or under development.
