3, 2016) – NAIOP South Florida, a Commercial Real Estate Development
Organization, recognized the winners of its 2016 Awards of Excellence last week
at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six.
The Awards of Excellence
recognize individuals and organizations whose achievements have contributed to
the local commercial real estate industry, benefitted the regional business
environment and facilitated economic growth.
“One of the echoing themes
of last week’s Awards of Excellence was community. Through our organization,
long-lasting connections are forged and result in deals and developments that
have undoubtedly benefitted South Florida’s overall economic environment,” said

Winner of Industrial Lease Transaction of the Year is Liberty Property Trust for the Miami International Tradeport, BTS for Ansaldo Breda, Inc/Hitachi Rail USA transation.- The Industrial Sale of the Year winner is CBRE for the Centergate at Gratigny transaction.
- The Industrial Broker of the Year is George Pino of State Street Realty.
- Winner of Office Lease Transaction of the Year is Plantation Pointe / Magic Leap facilitated by Cushman & Wakefield and Torburn Partners.
- The Office Sale of the Year is Phillips Point represented by HFF.
- The Office Broker of the Year for Investment Sales is Douglas Mandel of Marcus & Millichap.
- The Office Broker of the Year for Leasing is Norm Adams of Stiles Corporation.
- The Investment Sales Team Broker of the Year is CBRE South Florida’s Capital Markets Team featuring Apone, Avalos, Carranza-Alvarez, Chick, Chilgren, Foschini, Julian, Lee, Lobon and Minaya.

Tom Bisacquino and Terry Stiles, chairman and CEO of Stiles Corporation and
past winner of NAIOP’s Lifetime Achievement Award, presented the 2016 Lifetime
Achievement Award to Douglas Eagon, president of Stiles Corporation.
