Winter Park, FL --- Hold-Thyssen, Inc., a real estate services firm based in Winter Park, recently completed the $326,000 sale of the former Hollywood Barbers premises at 5519 W. Colonial Drive in Orlando.

The Hold-Thyssen leasing team of Martin Forster CCIM and N. Joelle Forster negotiated the transaction, representing a local owner who had operated it for some 25 years as Hollywood Barbers, a well-known hairdresser.

The stand alone retail building built in 1970 as a Mr. Donut, comprises 1,492 useable square feet on .35 acres with 105 feet of frontage on the north side of West Colonial Drive just east of its intersection with Kirkman Rd.

“Small, well-located, affordable commercial properties facing high traffic counts are relatively unusual and quite sought-after,” Forster said.  The property’s Argentinian buyer plans to refurbish the property and lease it out.

Hold-Thyssen provides commercial property and leasing and management services to institutional and private investor clients nationwide.  The 40-year old firm’s current portfolio includes more that 100 commercial properties throughout the United States.
