BLT Enterprises Completes 63,800-SF, $12 Million Industrial Development in San Diego, CA

SAN DIEGO, CA -- BLT Enterprises, a multi-faceted commercial real estate investment company, has completed ground-up construction of a 63,800 square-foot industrial building in the Kearny Mesa submarket of San Diego, California for $12 million.

“Kearny Mesa is one of the most dynamic industrial submarkets in San Diego County,” says Bernard Huberman, Founder and President of BLT Enterprises.
 “Businesses continue to migrate to the region in search of strong value alternatives compared to other areas throughout San Diego. This has resulted in extremely high demand for quality industrial properties throughout the submarket and very limited supply.”
In fact, as a result of this influx in demand, the Kearny Mesa Planning Group has implemented a plan to integrate more residential communities and retail centers in the region to create a more live/work/play environment, which will further drive increased demand to Kearny Mesa from both residents and businesses.

Huberman notes the project was designed to accommodate a variety of users and provide maximum flexibility.

The new development features an all concrete and steel structure, 30 ft. minimum clear heights, ESFR fire suppression system, and a fully enclosed concrete truck yard.


            “We take a long-term hold approach with all of our projects, focusing on integrating first-in-class amenities and features that will position the asset to perform well over time,” explains Huberman. “Our goal is to create environments where tenants want to lease with us for the long haul.”
The new industrial building is located at 9269 Lightwave Avenue in Kearny Mesa directly across from the YMCA, which features Athletic Facilities, Day Care, and a Pre-School.  The project is stragetically located in close proximity to the I-805, I-15, SR-163 and SR-52.
