EcoSystem Renewal in Final Permitting Stage for Texas Restoration Project Site Divided by Re-routed State Highway


 BATON ROUGE, LA. – EcoSystem Renewal LLC, a leader in wetland mitigation banking, restoration, and preservation of high priority ecological sites, is in the final permitting stage for a new project in Texas and in early stages of permitting for multiple projects in Louisiana .

The Texas site in Liberty County , Cedar Bayou Mitigation Bank, is a 605-acre complex restoration project requiring extensive engineering and design work. A draft mitigation banking instrument was submitted in October 2019 to the US Army Corps of Engineers – Galveston District.

 Cedar Bayou Holdings LLC, the sponsor of the mitigation bank, anticipates final approval by the third quarter of 2020.

EcoSystem Renewal, based in Baton Rouge , has for the past decade provided design, permitting, construction, monitoring, marketing, and management for more than 15,000 acres of restoration work in Texas and Louisiana .
