Boot Camp offers young men and women who have been convicted of a crime an alternative to prison time, while teaching them a trade and allowing them to earn an income.

Lincoln Harris’ Raleigh Team Adds Two Tenants to Raleigh Office Building, Leaving One Remaining Vacant Suite

 RALEIGH, N.C. (May 17, 2016) — Lincoln Harris’ Raleigh office has arranged two leases at an office building located at 801 Jones Franklin Road in Raleigh, North Carolina. Only one vacant suite remains at the building.

Kaler Walker and John Mikels of Lincoln Harris represented the landlord, True North Management Group, in the transactions. Additional information is below:

·      Stantec Inc., an international professional services company in the design and consulting industry, signed a 5,010-square-foot lease expansion to occupy a total of 32,240 square feet. Ryan Lawrence and Caitlyn Kinnaird of JLL represented the tenant. This is the company’s second expansion within the building in 10 months.

·      Sunbird Inc., a data center management service company, signed a new 4,512-square-foot lease.

801 Jones Franklin Road is a 69,394-square-foot three-story office building located at the Interchange Plaza Office Park in the heart of the Research Triangle. The remaining vacant suite totals 7,643 square feet, and is move-in ready.

·      Amante Pizza signed a 2,694-square-foot renewal.
·      Goin’ Postal signed a 1,131-square-foot renewal.

Cary Park Town Center, located at 10020 Green Level Church Road, is Cary’s premier shopping center, anchored by Harris Teeter.

Griffin-American Healthcare REIT III Reports First Quarter 2016 Results

 IRVINE, CA - Griffin-American Healthcare REIT III, Inc. announced operating results for the company’s first quarter ended March 31, 2016.

“During the first quarter, Griffin-American Healthcare REIT III completed approximately $90 million in investments, growing its consolidated portfolio to approximately $2.5 billion1 in value, of which we own approximately $2.1 billion2,” said Jeff Hanson, chairman and chief executive officer.

“While we have largely completed the portfolio construction phase of our strategic plan, we are in the process of completing more than $300 million3 in additional pipeline acquisitions that will further expand our diversified portfolio in the coming months.”

WNC provided approximately $4 million in LIHTC equity to fund construction of The Cameron Apartments; Historic Minneapolis Warehouse Converted into Affordable Housing

Minneapolis, MN (May 18, 2016) – WNC, a national investor in real estate and community development initiatives, announced today the completed conversion of a 106-year-old warehouse building into The Cameron Apartments, a 44-unit affordable housing community in Minneapolis.

WNC provided nearly $4 million in low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) equity and historic tax credit (HTC) equity to fund the adaptive reuse project.  

Located at 756 N. Fourth St., The Cameron Apartments is a four-story building comprised of 23 studio, 17 one-bedroom and four two-bedroom garden-style units for families. The historic building was originally constructed in 1910.

“The Cameron Apartments conversion was a unique project that transformed a rich part of Minneapolis’ century-old history into a modern, vital addition to the community,” said WNC Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Gaber. “We are pleased to deliver, with the help of our development partner, homes to local families in need, and to once again add to the nation’s supply of affordable housing.”

The Cameron Apartments provides residents with a fitness center, picnic/grilling area, onsite caretaker, laundry facility, elevator and bike storage. Amenities within each unit include an electric range, refrigerator, microwave oven, dishwasher, secure intercom entry, patio/balcony and central air conditioning.  A washer and dryer are standard in two-bedroom units.

SR Development LLC received the LIHTC equity to construct The Cameron Apartments. Brad Schafer and N. Christopher Richardson acted as the project developers.

Hold-Thyssen Negotiates Three Leases at Edgewater Commerce Center in Orlando, FL totaling 5,800 rentable SF

ORLANDO, FL --- The Hold-Thyssen leasing team of Alex Rowlinson and Troy Stevens recently negotiated three leases totaling 5,800 rentable square feet of flex space at Edgewater Commerce Center, 6250 Edgewater Drive in Orlando.

Rowlinson and Stevens negotiated the transactions on behalf of the landlord, a South Florida investor.

Loco’s Kreations LLC signed a five-year lease of 2,400 square feet for their custom motorcycles business. 

Refinishing Solutions Inc. renewed and expanded its leased space up to 2,400 square feet, and Let’s Move Florida, LLC signed a new three-year lease of 1,000 square feet.

With these three leases completed Edgewater Commerce Center is 88 percent occupied and only two units measuring 2,000 square feet and 6,040 square feet remain.

Berkadia Closes on 200 Apartment Units in Montgomery, AL

NAI Realvest Negotiates Two Leases totaling 5,340 square feet at Primera Court II in Lake Mary, FL

West represented Landlord RREF Interchange-FL Primera I, LLC of Daytona Beach in lease agreements with Southeast Law Group, P.A. and Alkan Mortgage Corporation dba Certified Mortgage Planners of Florida.

Hold-Thyssen Negotiates Five Commercial Leases in the College Park and Maitland areas of Orlando totaling 22,000 Square Feet

WINTER PARK, FL --- Hold-Thyssen, Inc., a commercial property firm based in Winter Park, recently negotiated five leases for a total of 22,077 rentable square feet of commercial flex and office space at centers in the College Park and Maitland areas.

The Hold-Thyssen leasing team of Alex Rowlinson and Troy Stevens represented the south Florida based landlord in a long-term lease agreement for 10,777 square feet in the Kennedy Commerce Center at 997 W. Kennedy Blvd. The new tenant is Commercial Systems Group, Inc., a fire and security alarm systems provider.

Rowlinson and Stevens negotiated three more lease agreements for flex space in the Edgewater Commerce Center, 6250 and 6270 Edgewater Drive in College Park representing the same landlord.  

Hotsy of Orlando, Inc., a pressure cleaning firm, signed a long-term lease of 4,800 square feet; Clean Sweep, a commercial cleaning service completed a lease renewal for 3,200 square feet; and Bowman’s Auto leased 2,000 square feet.

The Hold-Thyssen team of Martin and Joelle Forster represented the landlord Maitland Office Park at 500 N. Maitland Ave. in a lease agreement with Atlantic Coast Management, Inc. management consulting firm for a four office suite comprising 1,300 rentable square feet.
