Marshall Management, Inc. Adds Nine Hotel Management Contracts in 45 Days

Nine Additional Properties Currently in Pipeline

SALISBURY, MD, Nov. 10, 2008 – Marshall Management, Inc., a leading, mid-sized hotel management company, today announced that it added nine management contracts in less than two months, expanding the company’s portfolio to 44 open properties and 11 in various forms of development.

The 2008 growth spurt is a part of Marshall’s planned development, which will extend the company’s geographic presence along the East Coast and Midwest, diversify its portfolio and showcase its breadth and depth of skills as an owner and manager.

“We have strategically added 35% more properties to our portfolio, in strong markets and aligning with some of the industry’s top brands, while providing the detailed, individualized services that have become our hallmark,” said Michael Marshall, (top right photo) president and CEO of Marshall Management, Inc.

“We’ve increased our portfolio size while still maintaining a high level of personalized service, but remain firmly committed to be a mid-sized management company with a portfolio in the 40- to 60-property range.

Marshall also has management contracts for nine additional properties currently under development. Two have scheduled openings in the first quarter of 2009; three are expected to open in the second quarter of next year; and the rest will open later in the year.

Marshall Management, Inc. Adds Three to Executive Team

Expansion Highlights Marshall’s Growing Influence in Hotel Management Industry

SALISBURY, MD, Oct. 29, 2008 – Marshall Management, Inc., a leading, mid-sized hotel management company, today announced the appointment of Jim Bokosky (top left photo) as regional director of operations and the promotions of Jeff Lattinville (bottom left photo) to regional director of sales and marketing and Dave Douglas (bottom right photo) to regional director of operations.

These additions are a part of Marshall’s growth strategy to extend and diversify the company’s leadership along the East Coast and in the Midwest.

Marshall Management, Inc. Signs Contract to Manage New-Build Country Inn & Suites, Opening in 2009

Company Will Also Consult on Construction, Provide Pre-Opening Services for Maryland Property


SALISBURY, MD-– Marshall Management, Inc., a leading, mid-sized hotel management company, has signed a contract to manage the Country Inn & Suites Easton, Md. when the new-build property opens in 2009.

Under the contract, Marshall also will provide consultation services during the construction and pre-opening phases. Construction on the property, which is owned by Country Inn and Suites of Easton, LLC, is expected to begin this summer with a second quarter 2009 projected opening.

Marshall Management Signs Fifth Contract of 2008

SALISBURY, MD and LITTLE ROCK, AR—Marshall Management, Inc., a leading mid-sized hotel management company, has signed a long-term contract to manage the Hampton Inn Little Rock in Arkansas.

The property marks the company’s fifth new contract for 2008 and its fourth in Arkansas, bringing the company’s total portfolio to 46 hotels in 10 states.

“This is our 8th Hampton Inn and we have three additional properties under construction, making us one of the largest independent managers of this legendary select-service brand,” said Michael Marshall, (middle left photo) president of Marshall Management, Inc.

Marshall Management Acquires Contract to Manage Manhattan Four Points by Sheraton



SALISBURY, Md./NEW YORK CITY, N.Y., April 22, 2008 – Marshall Management, Inc., a leading, mid-sized hotel management company, today announced that it has signed a contract to manage the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea. (top photo)

This marks the company’s fourth managed hotel in New York City under an agreement with The Lam Group, a leading hotel and real estate development firm owned by John Lam, and Lam Generation, a recently formed hotel development and ownership company operated by Jeffrey Lam.

Under the terms of the agreement, announced in August 2007, Marshall will provide services to accelerate their planned development in New York City. Of the four Lam hotels to be managed by Marshall, the Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Chelsea is the first to open; the remaining three are currently under development.

Marshall Adds Depth to Marketing Team

Additional Bench Strength Bolsters Key Area

Together, Quintana and Allen have extensive marketing and hospitality expertise, expanding Marshall’s existing capacity and industry expertise. The two join Marshall’s team just as the company announced its fourth management contract of 2008.

“Duane and Josephine add depth and breadth to our existing strengths at a critical time for us and for the industry,” said Michael Marshall, president and CEO of Marshall Management. “We continue to add contracts at a reasoned pace, but are obtaining more sophisticated properties in more diverse locations.

Quintana comes to Marshall with an extensive background in the hotel industry, including 15 years with Marriott Corporation. He also served as vice president of sales and marketing at Luxe Worldwide Hotels, Grand Tradition Hotels & Resorts and Utell Hotels & Resorts, a collection of three- to five-star independently owned or distinctively branded properties.

Josephine Allen comes to Marshall from PERDUE® farms. She also worked with Salisbury University, where she specialized in new product development, marketing campaigns and advertising. At Marshall, she will oversee the marketing and promotion of the company’s portfolio. She previously worked with Marshall in the late ‘90s.
