Sands Companies Continues Growth with Addition of Four New Team Members

Myrtle Beach, SC – Sands Companies, a full-service, vertically integrated multifamily development and construction firm, keeps adding talented new team members to support its significant portfolio expansion.

 The firm welcomed Chandler DavidsonGeorge NicholsonJoseph Wells and Rachel Young to its growing team.

“All four individuals represent the next generation of our firm and the industry. We are excited to give them hands-on mentorship and help them grow within Sands and in their careers.”

Over the past year, Sands has hired 19 employees at all levels of the South Carolina-based firm.

George Nicholson

At Sands, Davidson and Nicholson serve as Assistant Project Managers. Wells is an Assistant Superintendent, while Young joins as Permit Manager. 

Davidson comes to Sands from Fayetteville, North Carolina and has previous construction experience in his home state and in Georgia. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. 

Rachel Young

Nicholson also obtained a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. The Silver Spring, Maryland native is versed in project management, field operations and estimating. 

Joseph Wells 

Wells comes to Sands with construction and related experience with companies in North Carolina and Kentucky. He graduated from Western Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management. 

Young resides in Conway, South Carolina and has project management, land surveying and inspection experience at firms in South Carolina and Nebraska. She earned an associate degree from Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska.

TUCSON, AZ –JLL’s boutique agency leasing team 10twelve has been retained to provide regional and national leasing services for La Encantada, a 246,256-square-foot, open-air lifestyle center located at 2905 E Skyline Drive in Tucson, Arizona. 

The center was acquired by Townwest in September 2021.

JLL’s Vice President of Leasing Kristin Grove along with local JLL brokers Regan Amato, and Ryan Tanner will oversee leasing at the center.

Livingston Street Capital Sells Acute Medical Center in Central Kansas for $40 Million

 GREAT BEND, KS –– An affiliate of Livingston Street Capital, a boutique private equity firm focused on commercial real estate investments throughout the U.S., has sold a 63,978-square-foot, 33-bed acute medical center in Great Bend, Kansas for $39.9 million.   

The firm acquired the University of Kansas Health System’s Great Bend Medical Care Center in December 2018.
