Seefried Properties and Clarion Partners Acquire Land and Announce Plans for 969,620 Square Foot Distribution Center in Buford, GA

BUFORD, GA – Seefried Properties, a national real estate firm specializing in the development, leasing and management of industrial properties, along with capital partner and leading real estate investment manager Clarion Partners, LLC., have recently acquired an 80-acre site for the development of a 969,620-square-foot Class A logistics center known as Buford North Distribution Center.

Located in the dynamic northeast Atlanta submarket along Interstate 985 in Hall County, GA., construction on the first phase of development is expected to begin in August 2022 with completion during the fourth quarter of 2023.

 Buford North Distribution Center will include 969,620-square-feet of logistics space across three buildings featuring flexible designs to accommodate multiple tenants with varying size requirements.

Phase two of the project is scheduled to begin construction in the third quarter of 2023 and will include 434,320-square-feet of space across two buildings. 

Features of all three buildings will include 185’ deep concrete exterior truck courts, 36’ clear heights, ample parking, and ESFR sprinklers.

The Civil Engineer on the project is Eberly & Associates; the Architect is Atlas Architecture.  Leasing efforts for the project will be led by the Seefried leasing team comprised of Joseph Kriss, Tripp Ausband and Doug Smith.

 Buford North Distribution Center is located approximately 40 miles northeast of Atlanta.  The location will afford tenants easy access to I-85 as well as Metro Atlanta and other nearby states.

JLL Capital Markets closes $41million sale of Lincoln Place, an ALDI-anchored retail property in Fairview, IL

CHICAGO, IL – JLL Capital Markets has closed the $40.75 million sale of Lincoln Place, a 272,060-square-foot regional shopping center anchored by ALDI and Total Wine & More in the St. Louis-area community of Fairview, Illinois.

 JLL represented the seller, Acadia Realty Trust. Jenel Real Estate acquired the asset.

The center is rounded out by popular retailers such as Carter’s, Longhorn Steakhouse, Nothing Bundt Cakes, St. Louis Bread Company, GameStop and Pizza Hut.

JLL Capital Markets handles $19 million sale of Rivertowne Square shopping center in Deerfield Beach, FL

 MIAMI, FL JLL Capital has closed the $18.75 million sale of Rivertowne Square, a 145,502-square-foot shopping center anchored by Winn-Dixie and Bealls Outlet in the South Florida community of Deerfield Beach.

 JLL marketed the asset on behalf of the seller, RPT Realty. South Florida-based JBL Asset Management acquired the center unencumbered of existing debt.

JLL Capital Markets closes $12 million sale of Pier 4 Retail, a luxury-oriented ground-floor residential condominium in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood

BOSTON, MA JLL Capital Markets has closed the $12 million sale of Pier 4 Retail, a 16,134-square-foot urban retail condominium leased to two full-service restaurants in Boston’s vibrant Seaport neighborhood.

 JLL advised the seller, Tishman Speyer Properties.

JLL Capital Markets brokers $20 million loan for fully leased industrial facility in Peabody, MA

 BOSTON, MA – JLL Capital Markets has arranged  $20.36 million in acquisition financing for a fully leased, 157,293-square-foot industrial building at 1 Second St. in the northern Boston suburb of Peabody, Massachusetts.

 JLL worked on behalf of the borrower, a partnership between Oliver Street Capital and Bain Capital Real Estate, to place the seven-year, fixed-rate, non-recourse loan with Metro Credit Union.
