Henin, who hired Gary
Beverly and Steve Young of Civil Design Solutions in Maitland to
design the new subdivision, said site construction is expected to begin the
first quarter of 2022.
The single-family home community – which will
be located on Slim Haywood Avenue – recently received county approval of
its PSP (preliminary site plan) for 146 homesites of 60-foot widths, according
to Jerome Henin, CEO of Henin Group.

Preferred
homebuilder D.R. Horton recently started construction at that community on
David Walker Drive and old US 441, “not too far from Seaport Village,”
Henin said.
“The attraction for me is that this area of
Lake County is in a major growth mode due to a new interchange coming at US 441
and SR 46 and completion of the beltway around Central Florida.”

In addition to the Seaport Village development, Henin has also purchased an adjacent 20 acres on which he plans to build approximately 350 apartments.
