CHICAGO, IL -- Proper Title, LLC, one of Illinois’ largest title insurance agencies, announced that Brent Fielder has been hired as executive vice president of business development.
In this role, Fielder will be responsible for expanding the firm beyond Proper Title’s home state of Illinois, initially with a new location in northwest Indiana.
He will also be responsible for recruiting key
employees as well as growing and collaborating with sales teams.

“Brent’s depth of industry experience and a
strong track record in developing multi-state title company operations made him
the clear choice to lead Proper Title’s expansion into markets outside of
Illinois,” said Mike Golden, partner and co-founder of Proper Title and
co-founder and co-CEO of @properties.
Most recently, Fielder served as executive
director of sales and marketing for Meridian Title Corp. in South Bend, Ind. In
this position, he led the northwest Indiana, north-central Indiana, and
southwest Michigan sales teams to exceed annual sales goals
